2011 Annual Meeting of the Cincinnati USA Convention and Visitors Bureau Highlights Spirit of Cincinnati Awards Honoring Breakthrough Performance in the Local Hospitality Industry
The Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau celebrated a sixth straight year of growth and the strongest convention results at its 2011 Annual Meeting in February, attended by a record-setting crowd of 500 business professionals, civic leaders and members of the regional hospitality industry.
The event at the Duke Energy Convention Center was highlighted by the announcement by the National Urban League that Cincinnati USA has been selected as the site for its 2014 Annual Conference. "Collaboration. Community. Connections." Was the event theme, and was evident in every aspect of the meeting, from the celebration of the Cincinnati region's 2011 menu of attractions and events to the news of the National Urban League conference to the recipients of the CVB's Spirit of Cincinnati USA Awards.
